1) What thickness of aluminum is used?
All Float Trailers and Hydro Haulers are built using .125” side plate. The FT2069 and HH2073 models are built using .1875” thick bottom plating, whereas the FT1661 and HH1861 models are all built with a .125” thick bottom.
The SV Series line-up is built entirely out of .1875” thick aluminum.
2) What type of aluminum is used?
All Float Trailer and Hydro Hauler models are built using 5052-H32 marine grade aluminum. The SV Series line-up is built using 5086-H32 marine grade aluminum.
3) What type of speeds can the boats reach when empty?
2010 16’ Float Trailer (FT1661) with 40hp Evinrude E-Tec- 22mph
2010 20’ Float Trailer (FT2069) with 115hp Evinrude E-Tec- 40mph

4) How does the drop door seal?
The drop door is sealed using a neoprene gasket that lines the entire door.
5) What type of warranty comes with the boats?
Admiral Drive Systems offers a limited life-time hull warranty against cracked and fatigued welds.
6) How do the wheel bearings hold up against everyday use?
The wheel bearings on a Float Trailer see the water just as much as any other boat trailer out there. That being said, yearly bearing maintenance is required.
7) What type of hull design is used?
All Float Trailer and Hydro Hauler models are built using a flat-bottom hull design, allowing users to carry larger loads, safely and efficiently, not to mention it also allows users to “beach” the boat with ease.
All SV Series boats are built using a rough water v-bottom style hull design.
8) How do I purchase one?
